romantic getaway amidst history
city views attentive staff wide choice lovely touch
the room offered a balcony where i enjoyed city views and glimpses of marina bay sands i found the staff very attentive making my time special the breakfast had a wide choice of foods ensuring each morning began perfectly the complimentary juice by the pool was a lovely touch making relaxation even easier
the lobby felt busy at times almost like a transit hub it lacked quiet corners for peaceful relaxation i wished for more intimate spaces within this grand building

the town restaurant provides a wide variety of options i especially savored the fresh pastries and the local kopi station that really brightened my mornings during breakfast the jade restaurant stood out due to its excellent food and great service

Really good Service and Fine Building
efficient collection excellent entrance room upgrade multiple options
The collection service from the airport was efficient. The entrance to the hotel was excellent. I was given a room upgrade because it was our anniversary. The breakfast selection included many options. I could barely try everything in three visits.

The gym had modern equipment, including several treadmills. The hotel provided a heritage tour detailing the history of the building. The pool offered a spot to relax with ample seating and views.

Underwhelming Stay. at a Historic Hotel
poor service inattentive staff
The breakfast experience was quite disappointing. It felt more like a school canteen than a luxurious hotel. Getting a second cup of coffee reminded me of an ordeal. Staff seemed more focused on clearing tables than assisting guests. I also found the lack of attention to detail frustrating.

very nice architecture peaceful slumber comfortable bed pleasant staff
i felt pampered throughout my stay, this building has very nice architecture! my room had a balcony where i could see the beautiful light show, a memory i will keep forever! the bed was comfortable and i sank into a peaceful slumber each night. the staff were pleasant.
The breakfast area could get quite busy. This slightly diminished the otherwise perfect experience.

the location was perfect it was easy to explore! the hotel is a quick walk to the merlion. i could easily visit boat quay and other local attractions, it made everything so convenient, though the parking was expensive!

convenient location breakfast selection well trained staff tired hotel drawer space comfortable chair
The hotel's location is very convenient! It is near city sites. Breakfast had a wide selection. It offered something for everyone. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Especially the concierge team. They helped me plan my itinerary before my trip.
The room lacked drawer space. There was no comfortable chair! there was no magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Public spaces lacked character.
